Loopscapes
A series of traditional animation loops
Loopscapes is a collection of hand-drawn animation loops created in Procreate Dreams. Each piece explores an imagined ecosystem—organic, fluid, and quietly surreal. I began with still illustrations and let curiosity shape how these forms might move, breathe, and pulse with life. The result is a series of micro-worlds where motion hints at energy, transformation, and rhythm.
I also created original music for each loop, adding another layer to the atmosphere and pacing of these tiny living scenes.
This last loop—a surreal eye—was originally created for an Instagram filter, before Meta removed filters by independent creators. It was fun to turn the animation into something wearable and a bit unexpected.
This series was a space to play, experiment, and reconnect with the joy of animating by hand—frame by frame.
